Though packing a lunch takes more effort than eating from the cafeteria, it is a great step to creating a new healthy lifestyle. Here are some of my favorite meals to pack for lunch in a thermos.
Meals with meat:
-Gluten-free meatballs and zoodles
-Turkey chili and zoodles
-Beef chili and quinoa
-Brown rice and chicken stir fry
- Stuffed pepper with turkey and cheese
-Chicken tortilla soup
Vegetarian meals:
-Beans and quinoa
-Spaghetti Squash Casserole
-brown rice with corn, pepper, black beans, and cheese
- tomato bisque
-vegetarian chili
-lentil soup
-Banza Mac and Cheese (crazy good)
Snack suggestions:
-Bag of 80 calorie pistachios
-Simple Mills Farmhouse Cheddar Almond Flour Crackers (amazing!!)
-berries
-Honey crisp apple with 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- carrots and cucumber and 1 tablespoon hummus
-handful of cashews
-Icelandic provisions yogurt
